Director Football Equipment Operations - Department Only - 529739
The Director of Football Equipment Operations oversees and directs all equipment operations, equipment room(s), and staff to ensure equipment needs of the football team are being appropriately and consistently met. Oversees and directs activities related to ordering, issuing, distributing, tracking, and repairing equipment used by football program. Monitors budget to ensure purchases remain within set parameters. Ensures adequate inventory of all athletic equipment. Serves as the primary point of contact for daily football equipment needs. Oversees scheduling to meet staffing needs for football practices, games, camps, and clinics. Oversees and directs processes used to transport and set-up athletic equipment at athletic venues. Works closely with Head Football Coach to fulfill any equipment-related needs.

Culverhouse - Kelly LEAD Instructor - 529721
The primary focus of this position is effective undergraduate teaching in professional development within the R. James Kelly LEAD Program. Teaching will consist of 24 credit hours per academic year split roughly evenly between fall and spring semesters. If necessary and appropriate, the number of credit hours could be larger in the fall than in the spring to achieve unit objectives. Teaching will be from an existing and evolving curriculum, with this position having the opportunity for curricular input over time. There are three 1-credit hour courses in the Kelly LEAD Professional Development sequence (GBA 146 for freshmen; GBA 246 for sophomores; GBA 346 for juniors), and one 2-credit hour course, GBA 247, for transfer and change of college students. This position will focus primarily on the freshmen GBA 146 class. As necessary and appropriate, opportunities may also exist to teach GBA 246, GBA 247 and, GBA 346. The successful candidate can expect to be engaged in instructional activities both inside and outside the classroom. Examples of these additional activities include assisting in curriculum development, adjunct instructor training, assisting our LEAD Professional Development Coaches, supporting student mentoring, and supporting other initiatives of the Kelly LEAD Program.

Serve as a scientific and/or research ambassador across Alabama and the region to enhance preparedness, resilience, and response to water related challenges.
