Reconciles P-Card/Concur for other staff/faculty against departmental budget. Performs some simple budget monitoring/entry. Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.
Director Health Informatics - 528847
The Director of Health Informatics provides enterprise-level leadership, technical direction, and operational oversight of the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform and related technologies serving all University HIPAA-covered entities and clinics. Serves as designated EMR service owner, ensuring system integrity, availability, security enforcement, interoperability, and lifecycle management in coordination with the Office of Information Technology (OIT), UAB Health System, and external partners. Manages and leads one or more teams of IT professionals responsible for the planning, implementation, optimization, and long-term management of the EMR and other key systems. Collaborates with University leadership to develop and execute strategic plans to optimize the use of IT in support of health care and business objectives. Works in conjunction with the University Chief Security Officer to ensure HIPAA security oversight and compliance.

The Manager of Medical Records Services provides oversight and direction for the day-to-day administration of medical records services, including records retrieval, maintenance, and release in accordance with federal and state regulatory standards and University policy and procedures. Ensures departmental productivity and compliance goals are met. Provides guidance, trains, and supervises records office staff.

The Dietitian conducts student consults for those with food allergies or other dietary concerns. Oversees the allergen programming, menus, and educational components of the University Dining Services program. Ensures compliance with ADA through documentation and continuous process improvement.

The Graduate Case Team Specialist leads and oversees the day-to-day operations of the graduate student case team. Plans and executes the competition schedule for each academic year, including traveling with the team and supervising the student participants.

Director Veteran and Military Affairs - 528842
The Director of Veteran and Military Affairs oversees and administers all aspects of Veteran and Military Affairs (VMA). Ensures appropriate staff are hired and adequately trained, specifically in administering Veterans Administration Education Benefits. Identifies and integrates best practices from peer institutions to enhance services offered to the students in this population. Provides direct supervision for staff members and functional supervision over outside agency partners operating within the VMA office.

The Athletic Compliance Coordinator ensures that University and departmental staff, coaches, student-athletes, and representatives of athletics interest abide by NCAA and SEC rules and regulations. Monitoring compliance related issues. Manages activities.
Regional UA Admissions Advisor - 528511
The Regional UA Admissions Advisor serves as the field representative for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for an assigned regional area. Recruits students to attend The University of Alabama by creating awareness about the University, its programs, and scholarship opportunities. Coordinates recruiting efforts with local alumni chapters. Identifies prospective qualified undergraduate students. Plans student receptions and counselor briefings. Analyzes data on current and future territories and markets.
Law School Digital Initiatives and Systems Librarian - 528833
The Law School Digital Initiatives and Systems Librarian oversees the library’s technology infrastructure. Oversees acquisition of library technical systems. Maintains and updates existing systems and staff training. Designs and maintains the library’s website. Provides long-term planning. Collaborates in the provision of research, reference, and instructional services.
