Job Summary: The Media Production Associate works with faculty and other academic support professionals to record, shoot, edit, and deliver high quality media to be used in online courses and marketing campaigns. Operates video studio. Shoots field shots using cameras and other support units. Edits videos and create graphics and animations as needed. Utilizes Adobe Suite of Products (Premiere, Audition, After Effects, etc.) to create an engaging media presence for our online students.
Additional Department Summary: Collaborates with media production staff, university stakeholders, and external stakeholders to edit media and operate and maintain all media production facilities and equipment under the purview of the Office of Teaching Innovation and Digital Education (OTIDE).
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of experience; OR associate's degree and two (2) years of experience; OR bachelor's degree or higher.
Skills and Knowledge: Strong organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects. Knowledge of modern non-linear video editing software like Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro. Knowledge of lighting design and audio techniques.
