Job Summary: The Student Services Program Manager oversees the academic advising function for a small college. Provides student record oversight, degree auditing, registration assistance, and catalog preparation for the college. Identifies and implements best practices in academic advising. Develops, coordinates, facilitates, and integrates outcome driven efforts in academic advising that support student success, retention, and graduation completion. May handle a student academic advising case load.
Additional Department Summary: Provides leadership and managerial functions to carry out the Honors College program mission. Plans, implements, and evaluates the Student Services Department. Orchestrates tasks and sets up systems to carry out the organizations mission. Recruits, selects, and orients personnel. Conducts introductory and annual performance appraisals for staff. Ensures all student services in the college are well integrated and function smoothly. Helps supervise all aspects of Student Services for the Honors College. Oversees college-wide academic advising and coordinates with other academic advising across other colleges. Drives and articulates the vision of the Honors College student services.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of academic advising or student academic records experience; OR master's degree and four (4) years of academic advising or student records experience.

Sound judgement and ability to use independent judgement.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree and two (2) years of experience in academic services, student services, higher education, or an academic unit. PhD in related field.
