This senior level position focuses on providing research program support, and pre-award management on behalf of the IFAS Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA) office. As the Pre-Award Research Administration Manager, you will be the driving force behind the accurate and efficient submission of proposals and post submission updates by providing oversight, mentoring, planning, and operational management for pre-award activities for all federal and non-federal grants, contracts, internal research projects and related sponsored programs activities in SPA. This position will support the SPA RAs by encouraging effective and integrated connections, workflows, activities, and communications between the SPA team and stakeholders; engaging and advocating in professional development activities and training related to position responsibilities and advancement of the team; and managing process improvement efforts for research administration in collaboration with SPA Leadership.
