Student Account Specialist I

A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is part of the Student Account Success team within the University Bursar, located in the Finance & Accounting unit of the CFO Office. The Student Account Success team handles general student/parent inquires and customer service related to student financial accounts, processes incoming student payments, and coordinates outreach and communication related to Bursar operations. This position assists with the day-to-day operations of the Student Account Success Team, including responding to emails, phone calls, and other student/parent inquiries, processing student payments, and assisting with communication to the student population.

$16.50 - $19.00 per hour

Ability to plan, organize and coordinate files, records, and work assignments.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Ability to work independently and as a team.

Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.

Experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

Ability to determine work priorities, assign work and ensure proper completion of work assignments.

Ability to analyze and interpret accounting data
