Regular work hours for Spring semester are Sunday night through Friday morning, 11:30pm-8:30am; this schedule is changed during intersession, holidays, and other times when there are reduced hours and library closures JOB SUMMARY As a member of the Marston Science Library Access Services Unit, this position performs a variety of public service, supervisory, technical, and security roles in support of the Smathers Libraries 24-hour program and the Marston Science Library branch. Oversees access services responsibilities and the service desk and supervises student assistants during the overnight hours. Assists patrons in the use of library services, circulating tools and technology, and with computer-related problems. Directs shift change with the morning and evening staff members and with security assistants. Expectation of employment through completion of Spring 2026 semester; renewal contingent upon funding.

This position is responsible for the performance, quality, and accuracy of the results reported; maintenance of instrumentation, including scheduled, preventive, and troubleshooting, as needed; preparation of standards, calibrators, and reagents; and adherence to the laboratory's quality management program, including quality assurance activities and coordination for multiple sites.
