Job Description: |
The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida is recruiting to fill a non-tenure track position at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor of Radiology. The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to advancing clinical care, teaching, and innovative research at one of the nation’s top institutions.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to UF’s highly regarded Diagnostic Medical Physics group. The ideal candidate will work with a wide range of imaging modalities with emphasis in regulatory compliance and participation in the training of medical physics residents and graduate student education.

Required Qualifications: |
A PhD in medical physics
Board certification in Diagnostic Radiological Physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
A minimum of 3 years of post-training experience in academic diagnostic medical physics
Expertise in a broad range of imaging modalities, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, CT, and MRI

Preferred: |
Strong educational background with experience in graduate course teaching and directing graduate student research projects is strongly preferred, but not required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to working with diverse student and faculty populations
