Job Description:

Campus Partnerships & Student Career Success Advancement -Collaborates with campus and external stakeholders to advance career strategies and the data used to positively impact career outcomes at UF. Leads projects to gather data related to learning inside and outside of the classroom for analysis and interpretation related to career design, experiential learning participation, and post-graduation outcomes to identify meaningful trends. Manages career-related technologies that support scalable career coaching, employer engagement, experimental learning tracking, and student access to career services. Serves as system administrator by implementing updates, monitoring data integrity, optimizing workflows, and providing user support. Develops training materials, user guides, and quality assurance processes to ensure consistent adoption across the partners and student populations. Collaborates with UFIT, the Office of the University Registrar, and campus partners to ensure compliance with university policies and enhance the student experience. Strengthens cross-functional collaboration to ensure data is leveraged effectively to advance student success, institutional priorities, and the mission. 

Service, Engagement and Direct Support – Meets with students, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni, and other partners to support data-informed decision making to improve student success outcomes at the university. Serves as a consultative point of contact for faculty and departmental partners by translating career and outcomes data into actionable insights that support departmental student engagement and industry partnership goals. Coordinates and provides programmatic and service offerings that support the student experience - efforts that foster skill building, resource navigation, readiness and overall success. Collaborates with career coaches to assess student career readiness trends, identify populations needing targeted support, and evaluate the effectiveness of coaching and engagement initiatives. Communicates insights in clear, compelling ways that support case management strategies, targeted student interventions, and continuous improvement of career services and experiential learning initiatives.

Communication, Outreach, Evaluation & Assessment – Develops and coordinates the design, implementation, and dissemination of communication plans, surveys, and other continuous improvement efforts to aid student career outcomes. Support the ongoing management of data related to career readiness, experiential learning, and student success, and outcomes using various systems and environments (e.g., Symplicity, Salesforce, Qualtrics, SteppingBlocks, etc.). Uses career outcomes, experiential learning, and engagement data to inform career coaching strategies, employer outreach priorities, and targeted student interventions for specific populations. Communicates insights, research and findings to leadership to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and storytelling aligned with the mission of the Career Connections Center, Division of Student Life and greater state priorities that positively impact post-graduation success. Maintains documentation, data dictionaries, and reporting protocols to ensure transparency and data literacy across the portfolio. Prepares assessment summaries and outcome reports that support program enhancement, divisional reporting expectations, and institutional student post-graduation outcomes goals.

Administrative Functions – Assists the Director for Career Data, Technology and Engagement with the team management, budget support, supervision, and other administrative functions. Supports a data-informed culture by serving on committees, facilitating trainings, and educating departments on data access, data literacy, and the appropriate use of analytical tools and systems. Collaborates with colleagues to identify data needs for strategic planning and resource allocation. Attend staff meetings and one-on-one supervision meetings to ensure clear communication with colleagues and supervisors. Participates in portfolio, division and university-wide committees. Potentially supervises student assistants. May have an indirect impact on the position duties of other portfolio staff members.  Track, report, and communicate project outcomes to various stakeholders, including students, alumni, faculty/staff, and employers. Lives out the Center’s values in all aspects of job function. Evaluates usage trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements that align with the future of work and evolving student needs. 

Expected Salary:

54,000.00

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in an appropriate field and two years of experience or a bachelor’s degree and four years of related experience.

Preferred:

Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to advances in higher education, education technology, data-driven decision making, support for learner interventions, and working with various populations on a large campus is highly preferred.

EDUCATION & TRAINING: Master’s degree in marketing, social sciences, student personnel, or human resources (HR)

EXPERIENCE
- Two (2) years of experience (minimum) in stakeholder engagement, marketing, sales, career development, career counseling, or HR

KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of industry relations, employment trends, student development, career services, marketing, and outreach strategies

SKILLS
- Skilled in computer applications
- Facilitative skills - Interpersonal skills
- Good presentations skills, listening skills, helping skills, relationship management, and program development

ABILITIES: Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
