The University of Florida is seeking an Associate Director of Annual Giving, Digital Philanthropy to lead digital fundraising and crowdfunding efforts that engage donors and expand philanthropic support across the university. Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving Campaigns, this role develops, executes and manages omni-channel, impact-driven campaigns, collaborates with campus partners, and uses data-driven insights to enhance donor participation and fundraising results. Digital Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Lead the strategy, development, and execution of central digital annual giving campaigns across email, web, SMS/texting and other fundraising channels.
- Develop and execute digital fundraising strategies that support donor acquisition, retention, reactivation and increased donor participation.
- Work in partnership with the Director of Annual Giving Campaigns to align digital campaigns with the broader annual giving solicitation strategy and calendar.
- Develop campaign plans, timelines, creative deliverables, audience strategies, and execution plans for central digital fundraising initiatives.
- Project manage the development, implementation, testing, and optimization of digital campaign assets, including emails, landing pages, web content and other campaign opportunities.
- Coordinate SMS/texting strategy and execution for Annual Giving campaigns, including campaign planning, scheduling, deployment, vendor coordination and performance review.
- Develop processes to evaluate results of digital campaigns and report statistics and recommendations to appropriate parties.
- Serve as the Annual Giving liaison for GiveCampus Central and Unit Special Campaigns, coordinating with campus partners and Annual Giving team members to facilitate effective use of GiveCampus campaign functionality and support the development and execution of central and unit special campaigns.
- Coordinate with key partners, including Strategic Marketing & Communications and Marketing Intelligence, to ensure campaign strategy and execution align with university brand standards and maximize reach across channels and solicitation methods, integrating creative, social media, email deployment, audience strategy and campaign analytics.
- Serve as a resource for emerging digital fundraising opportunities and channels.
Crowdfunding Initiative
- Lead the operational execution and management of the Annual Giving crowdfunding initiative in alignment with the crowdfunding strategy and roadmap established by the Director of Annual Giving Campaigns.
- Manage the development, launch, maintenance, and closeout of crowdfunding campaigns, including campaign setup, page management, timelines, tracking, reporting, and ongoing campaign support.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and communications to promote crowdfunding campaigns and increase participation and philanthropic support.
- Work in partnership with colleges, units, students, faculty, staff, and other campus stakeholders to support successful crowdfunding initiatives.
- Provide consultation and guidance to campaign partners regarding crowdfunding best practices, campaign structure, messaging, promotion, and digital fundraising strategy.
- Coordinate campaign communications and promotional activities across appropriate digital channels.
- Monitor crowdfunding campaign performance and provide regular updates, analysis, and recommendations to Annual Giving leadership and campaign stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve crowdfunding performance and expand participation within the broader Annual Giving program.
- Serve as a primary operational resource for crowdfunding campaign development and execution across central and unit initiatives.
Annual Giving Unit Management
- Drive proactive annual giving strategies for 4 to 6 college and unit partnerships.
- Manage and execute annual giving direct marketing campaigns for assigned partners.
- Cultivate year-round participation and communication with partners to ensure successful progressions toward established goals and priorities.
- Track and monitor campaign progress and performance to make appropriate adjustments and recommendations.
- Evaluate campaigns and provide regular performance updates and analysis to unit partners.
- Develop strong working relationships with assigned partners and serve as a strategic resource for annual giving campaign planning and execution.
Stand Up & Holler Giving Day
- Lead the organization, timeline, and project management of the annual Giving Day website and Giving Day Unit Submission Portal launch.
- Manage the development, maintenance, and launch of the Giving Day website in partnership with appropriate internal and external partners.
- Oversee the Giving Day Unit Submission Portal, including campaign setup, content management, user access, submissions and administrative requirements.
- Partner with the Director of Annual Giving Campaigns and other Annual Giving team members to execute the digital components of the integrated Giving Day campaign.
- Assist with coordination Giving Day digital communications across web, email, SMS/texting and other digital channels.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, testing, quality assurance, and launch readiness for Giving Day web experiences.
- Serve as a primary web resource and point of contact for Annual Giving staff and campus partners participating in Giving Day.

| Expected Salary: |
$67,000-72,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- One to three years of annual giving, membership, direct marketing, or digital advertising experience.
- Prior experience in development or related fields.
- Prior experience developing and implementing special campaigns including social media and email marketing.
- Knowledge of annual giving within philanthropy.
- Ability to work collaboratively and as a team player.
- Proven project management, time management, and organizational skills.
- Competency in problem solving.
- Outstanding customer service skills; ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with both external and internal constituents.
- Ability to incorporate both quantitative and qualitative information and metrics into decision making.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Technology savvy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to engage effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of individuals are essential.

- Familiarity with email software, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- The ability and willingness to travel. A valid driver license and good driving record are essential.*
