This is a part-time or full-time, outpatient only faculty position to provide care for Adult Patients only in the Department of Pediatrics, College of Medicine - Jacksonville, with primary assignment at the University of Florida Center for HIV/AIDS Research, Education, Services (UF CARES). The position will report to the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunology and the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics. UF CARES is the only comprehensive HIV program in north Florida serving adults, adolescents, children and pregnant women. The UF CARES has Ryan White Part A, C and D Funding, a 340B Pharmacy Program, and has an active NIH and PHARMA funded research program.

This Full-Time, Psychologist position is staffed in our Multidisciplinary Diagnostic & Training Program (MDTP). This is a full-time (FTE 1.0), 12-month, psychologist position at the FDLRS UF Multidisciplinary Diagnostic and Training Program. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Administering standardized cognitive and academic achievement measures and parent and teacher questionnaires to evaluate student's cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning, interpreting results, and identifying evidence-based interventions to address identified needs • Providing consultation services to parents, teachers, instructional personnel, and other school staff to facilitate implementation of evidence-based interventions to improve the academic engagement, learning, skill development, and readiness for post-secondary transition of at-risk K-12th grade students with complex needs who are struggling academically • Providing collaborative consultation to educators in school-based educational planning meetings • Delivering direct consultation/intervention services to at-risk students and their parents/caregivers targeting barriers to academic engagement, learning, and skill development to improve readiness for post-secondary transition • Conducting student behavioral observations in classroom settings and providing targeted consultative support to classroom teachers • Conducting comprehensive progress monitoring assessments with students, families, and teachers/school personnel to determine the effectiveness and implementation levels of recommendations • Writing psychological evaluation and consultation reports and maintaining all appropriate records as required and in a timely manner This position will be supervised by the Program Director. This is a time-limited position that is dependent on grant-funding.
