The manager of operations oversees daily operations for ECHO Diabetes, including managing personnel (Diabetes Support Coaches, DSC) that are embedded within community healthcare settings throughout Florida, managing project budgets and approving purchase requests of DSC, managing project assets, and ensuring the DSC program protocols adhere to best practices for community-based health coaches. This position is in Gainesville, FL, on the UF campus, but oversees a team of remote DSCs in 10 counties across FL (Hillsborough, Miami-Dade, Polk, Leon, Duval, Orange, Hernando, Collier, Alachua, and Monroe). The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who excels at relationship-building, communication, and cross-functional program management.
