The Department of Neurosurgery at UF Health oversees a portfolio of clinical trials of varying complexity that includes consortium, industry-sponsored, and investigator-initiated trials. The incumbent will manage a portfolio of low-to-minimal-risk clinical trials and independently collaborate with physicians, nurses, the clinical research team, and other key personnel to ensure sponsor and Institutional Review Board (IRB) regulatory compliance. This includes obtaining regulatory approval for new protocols, maintaining approval for existing protocols, tracking completion of protocol training, obtaining approval for protocol addenda and study renewal, maintaining a protocol database, and submitting and tracking all IRB documents.
