The Credit Card Analyst administrates and maintains the University Credit Cards. This position continues to build a community devoted to strong ethical behavior, ensuring that this value is embedded in the institutional practices as well as effectively stewarding existing financial resources by enforcing credit card policies and ensuring internal policies and procedures are upheld. The position increases the quality of dialogue and sense of community among staff and administration by communicating with cardholders to facilitate accurate reconciliation of University credit cards.

Duties

  • Audit employee purchasing credit card reconciliations by inspecting monthly transaction receipts.
  • Process new credit card applications and issue new employee credit cards.
  • Maintain card holder profiles.
  • Provide support and assistance to employees. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Advise management on recurring issues and concerns relating to the University credit card program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Uphold University mission through work performed.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: High School Diploma; Two years accounting or equivalent work experience Strong analytical and communication skills; Proficient in Word and Excel PC computer skills.

Preferred: AA or Bachelors Degree, classes in business, bookkeeping and accounting; Accounts Payable, purchasing, employee reimbursement experience; Strong customer service skills PeopleSoft or ERP systems experience.

This is a Regular, Nonexempt, 40 hour per week position.

Expected Pay Range: $23.79 - $26.44 per hour 

The above pay range reflects what Pepperdine University reasonably expects to pay for this position at time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant factors such as work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level. In addition to base pay, Pepperdine offers a robust and highly competitive benefits package.
