Administrative Assistant to the Office for Community Partnerships Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Administrative Assistant to the Office for Community Partnerships. The Administrative Assistant is an eleven-month, non-exempt staff position with benefits and the hourly rate of pay is $17.96. The Administrative Assistant will oversee the management of financial records, public relations and communications, some event management, staff and event calendar and space management, and purchasing for the office. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for some website and social media management and maintenance, some membership and sponsorship communications, some grant management, and shared day-to-day operations and office routines, in addition to significant verbal, written and oral communications. As with other OCP staff, the Administrative Assistant will understand and administer the OCP’s mission, as well as have an understanding of College policies, procedures and programs related to the administrative unit.
Civil Rights/Title IX Deputy Coordinator Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Civil Rights/Title IX Deputy Coordinator. A member of the President’s division, the Civil Rights/Title IX Deputy Coordinator reports to the Civil Rights/Title IX Coordinator. The Deputy Coordinator has expertise in cultural competency and can demonstrate familiarity with, and respect for, diverse racial, ethnic, cultural identities and gender identities. Specifically, the Deputy Coordinator assists with monitoring and coordinating compliance with nondiscrimination laws alleging discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, ethnicity, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, medical condition, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, familial status, parenting, pregnancy, or any other characteristic protected by state, local or federal law. Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Design Gambier, OH
Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Design for the department of Dance, Drama, Film beginning in July 2025. Duties of the position involve teaching the equivalent of five courses annually, designing main stage productions, mentoring students, and participating in collegiate service. Candidates should have primary expertise in costume design with additional expertise in scene and properties design. An MFA or the equivalent is required. Assistant Professor of Studio Art in 4D Media and New Genres Gambier, OH
Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally-ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Studio Art at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2025. The Assistant Professor in 4D Media and New Genres will be a visual artist who critically engages with and integrates emerging technologies, and their professional practice demonstrates interdisciplinary expertise in digital media manipulation. Qualified candidates will have an in-depth knowledge of experimental video and emerging technologies and software, including Adobe CC, with advanced proficiency in both production and post-production workflows. Additional expertise may include interactive art, data-driven arts, AI imaging, computational art, and performance art. Associate Vice President for Development Gambier, OH

Nurse Practitioner in College Health Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Nurse Practitioner in College Health. The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse-Certified Nurse Practitioner (APRN-CNP) supports Kenyon College students by providing direct medical care in alignment with the Cox Center mission: “Provide services that promote wellness and empower students.” The APRN-CNP will utilize clinical skills in health assessment, diagnosis, treatment of various health/medical conditions, and referrals to off- campus providers if the health need is beyond the Center’s scope of practice. Kenyon Review Fellowships Gambier, OH
The Kenyon Review invites applications for a two-year residential post-graduate fellowship in creative writing beginning in August 2025. During these two years, fellows will undertake a significant writing project and teach one course per semester in the Kenyon College English Department, contingent upon departmental needs. Fellows will also assist with creative and editorial projects for The Kenyon Review. Fellows are required to live in the local community and are expected to participate in the cultural life of Kenyon College. Fellows to hold no other teaching, graduate study or fellowship obligations. Qualifications include an MFA in creative writing, or a PhD in creative writing, English literature, or comparative literature. The degree must be completed between January 1, 2019 and September 15, 2024. Qualified candidates will also have teaching experience in creative writing and/or literature at the undergraduate level. A history of publication in literary journals is expected. The Kenyon Review will provide an annual $42,000 stipend, plus health benefits. Philander Chase Conservancy Project Coordinator Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified applicant to fill the position of Philander Chase Conservancy Project Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of the Philander Chase Conservancy (PCC), the PCC Project Coordinator assists the Director in implementing the College’s plan for the conservation and enhancement of the open spaces, scenic views and characteristic landscapes surrounding the College and the Village of Gambier. The Project Coordinator assists the PCC Director and Board of Directors in developing, refining and carrying out strategies for the conservation and monitoring/stewardship of the Conservancy’s protected properties, and also helps educate and build awareness of land conservation in the Kenyon community by collaborating with environmental programs and groups that exist at the College. Postdoctoral Fellow in Biology Gambier, OH
The Biology Department at Kenyon College in Gambier, OH, is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, 3-year post-doctoral position in the laboratory of Natalie Wright. This position is funded through a CAREER grant from the NSF to study why many species of birds exhibit sexual dimorphism in flight muscle size, but many others do not, and to understand how sexual dimorphism in flight muscle size impacts flight in wild birds. This project, spanning evolutionary ecology, morphology, and flight biomechanics, offers the successful applicant a chance to learn new research skills while building upon familiar ones. The postdoc will conduct research; collect, analyze, and synthesize data; present their work at conferences; and publish papers. The postdoctoral fellow will develop the skills necessary to succeed in a tenure-track position through collaboration on undergraduate teaching and student mentoring with Dr. Wright. Postdoctoral Fellowship in Polymers Synthesis and Degradation Gambier, OH
The Chemistry Department at Kenyon College in Gambier, OH is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, post-doctoral position in the laboratory of Yutan Getzler. This position is funded through a Research at Undergraduate Institutions (RUI) grant from the NSF to study controlled polymer degradation. The immediate goal for our NSF-funded program is synthesis and characterization of linear and cyclic polyesters via ring-opening polymerization of commercially available and novel lactones using coordination compounds. Several variants of the novel lactones are in hand on multi-gram scales and their syntheses are well developed. Initial conditions for polymerization of commercially available monomers are established. This position is especially well suited to those interested in pursuing a career as a teacher-scholar at a primarily undergraduate institution (PUI).
