Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Program Coordinator, Center for Global Engagement. This is a 12-month position in the Center for Global Engagement, reporting to the Director, Center for Global Engagement.  .

The Program Coordinator provides support for all aspects of the Center for Global Engagement functions.  This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Serve as Designated School Official for the Student and Exchange Visitor Program.
  • Coordinate Friendship Family and Meet the World in Knox County programs.
  • Organize OCS Information Day.
  • Assist with all aspects of International Pre-Orientation, OCS meetings and workshops.
  • Assist with OCS advising, interviews, application process,  application reviews and evaluation process.
  • Assist with all aspects of international student advising.
  • Implement and maintain all aspects of TerraDotta.
  • Coordinate regular digital media coverage, including CGE website and social media.
  • Assist with OCS billing process.
  • Assist with all CGE events.
  • Routine office duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident per SEVP requirements.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with students from different backgrounds.
  • Interest in cross-cultural issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of constituents including students, parents, campus offices, program providers, faculty, and community partners. Experience working in a fast-paced team setting with multiple interruptions.
  • Experience working with Microsoft and Google Suite.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with F-1 SEVIS regulations.
  • Knowledge and experience in the off-campus study/study abroad field.
  • Experience Banner, TerraDotta, and Etrieve.
  • Evening and weekend hours required.
