About the Role 

At Sportsbet, we’re all about making bold moves backed by brilliant insights. Sitting within our Commercial Analytics team within our Finance department, this role is all about turning data into decisions that drive real impact across the business. 

This role goes beyond building dashboards or reporting. We’re looking for someone who can uncover the “why” behind the numbers, someone who can spot patterns, challenge assumptions, and connect data to business opportunities. You’ll work closely with teams like Customer Operations, Responsible Gambling, Product, Marketing, Media, and Risk & Trading to solve complex problems, uncover opportunities, and deliver better outcomes for our customers. 

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Analytics, you’ll join a collaborative, inclusive team that’s passionate about using data to solve real-world challenges and elevate customer outcomes. 

About You 

• You’re experienced with SQL and love diving into data to find the story beneath the surface 

• You’ve got strong Excel skills and experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker 

• You’re a data storyteller and able to translate complex analysis into clear, compelling insights for any audience 

• You’ve worked in commercial or business analysis roles and know how to turn insight into action 

• You’re a natural collaborator with strong stakeholder skills and a passion for solving real-world problems 

• You thrive in fast-paced, agile environments and are always looking for ways to improve, learn, and grow
