Job Duties
- Effectively assess patients, exercise principles of triage and render treatment to patients.
- Provide advanced emergency medical and pre-hospital life support, with the ability to use specialist equipment like ventilators and defibrillators to treat patients when needed.
- Prepare reports such as Casualty Logs, accident report, equipment's maintenance for project.
- Paramedics are trained to provide first-class pre-hospital care. When others panic, you are calm and quick to make sense of your patient's needs.
- Not frightened by blood or major injuries, you are the hope in times of distress and pain.
- Communicate with healthcare partners, patients, and members of construction staffs effectively.
Job Requirements
- Paramedic Level III / Level 3 Paramedicine Certification
- Higher NITEC in Paramedic & Emergency Care (ITE)
- UPEC-Accredited Paramedic
- Diploma with at least 3 years’ experience in pre-hospital emergency care OR Diploma in Nursing / Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years’ nursing experience
- Possess good leadership skills while being a team player
- Able to work under challenging situations independently and with integrity
- Good command of written and spoken English. Multilingual ability is an added advantage
- Physically fit with good stamina, and able to commit to irregular shiftwork, including weekends and public holidays
- Registered Nurses with A&E / ICU experience an advantage
