Management & Financial Reporting
- Prepare customer invoices based on accounting procedures and manage accounts receivable ledger.
- Month end closing activities, such as preparation of journals and accounting entries in the general ledger.
- Prepare accounts analysis, reconciliations and any other financial reports / analysis as required.
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports, including budget/forecast.
- Prepare consolidated financial reporting packages for the Group.
- Review reporting packages submitted by Business Units and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate and communicate reporting timetable and requirements to Business Units and ensure compliance.
- Provide accounting support to Business Units and Corporate Finance teams.
Financial Audit
- Provide support for audit related activities.
- Prepare draft statutory accounts in compliance with financial reporting standards and local statutory requirements.
Tax Compliance
- Provide requested information and schedules to Group Tax Manager and tax consultants.
- Assist with tax returns/tax compliance.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
- Qualified accountant
- Minimum 4 years relevant working experience, preferably with audit, MNC or construction companies.
- Knowledge of statutory, compliance and audit requirements in financial reporting.
- Conversant with accounting standards and practices.
- Knowledge of taxation processes and regulations.
- Strong communication skill.
- Able to work independently as well as working closely with team members
