Job Duties
- Accountability for management of digital planning software, data stores, licensing and server environments
- Performing digital software related activities such as configuring and troubleshooting the software; and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches.
- Be able to define and convey customisation requirements to meet specific project requirements
- Troubleshoot and solve user problems for hosted systems
- Maintain all IT systems and services in line with LAIO’s security policy and current IT industry best-practice i.e. can only be accessed by appropriately authorised individuals.
- Review audit trails as required and report any security incidents.
- Ensure that information and systems information are protected from any access by unauthorised staff or any other third party.
- Ensure the effective continuity of LAIO’s business by participating in disaster recovery planning.
- Complete backup and recovery testing ensuring systems can be recovered in the event of major incident.
- To assist in software and hardware audits.
- Maintain User Guides.
- Track desktop hardware and software through the entire asset life-cycle.
- To provide general administrative support to LAIO IT.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in IT or related field
- At least 5 years and above Desktop Support operations and Infrastructure experience
- Demonstrable experience with the management, administration, and supporting delivery of Digital Systems.
- Strong skills in software system troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Understanding of relevant Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) with capability to design, setup and maintain Digital Systems configurations.
- Experience and understanding of Windows Operating System, Client Applications, Browser functionality.
- Familiarity with best practice Change Management and Configuration Management
- Understanding of contemporary IT technologies and concepts such as ICT Networks, Security and Authentication, End User Computing, Virtualised Environments and Cloud Computing
- Technical knowledge: Microsoft Windows Server Operating System, Microsoft SQL Server, Object Oriented Programming, .NET, ASP, HTML, XML, IIS, API, ODBC, REST, Business Intelligence Systems (PowerBI, tableau etc.)
