We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager to lead, coordinate, and optimize engineering and design processes across our data center construction projects in Thailand. This role ensures the seamless transformation of innovative ideas into high-quality deliverables. The Design Manager will oversee the engineering and AutoCAD (ACAD) teams, manage internal and external stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of design solutions that meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Engineering Management

• Serve as the main link between construction teams, external design consultants, and client design teams.
• Provide clear direction on design requirements, priorities, and schedules.
• Review and verify design deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.

Site Coordination and Monitoring

• Collaborate with site engineers and construction teams to ensure designs align with on-site conditions.
• Conduct periodic inspections to confirm adherence to design guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance and updates during project progress meetings.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Review designs for compliance with engineering principles, codes, CAD/BIM standards, and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of designs, delivery schedules, and timesheets.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality, safety, and project standards.

People Management and Leadership

• Mentor and develop the engineering and ACAD teams to enhance technical and behavioral skills.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support team growth through training and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline (recognized by the Professional Engineers Board or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably split between contractors and consultants.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering, project management, and temporary works design.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary design teams in Design & Construct (D&C) projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and digital design tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Thai.
