Head of Financial Accounting (FTC)

Your Role

As the Head of Financial Accounting, you'll be the driving force behind our month-end close processes, ensuring everything is delivered on time and in line with IFRS standards. You'll partner with teams across the business, providing critical insights and analysis to support key decision-making.

What You'll Deliver in the First 12 Months:

• Timely and Accurate Reporting: Own the month-end close processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to ensure Finance is fully engaged on strategic priorities and change projects.
• Audit Support: Facilitate a smooth external audit process, addressing any auditor queries swiftly.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our financial processes.
• Team Leadership: Develop and mentor your team, fostering a culture of high performance.

What We're Looking For:

• ACA Qualified Accountant: With strong technical knowledge of IFRS and experience in implementing accounting policies.
• Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong Communicator: Able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical Mindset: Proactive in delivering insights that drive business decisions.
• Organisational Skills: Capable of delivering high-quality outputs to tight deadlines.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a strong problem-solving ability.
