Specialist – Reward, People (12 month FTC)

Location: King's Cross, London (Hybrid Working)

About the Role:
At NewDay, we are looking for a Specialist – Reward, People to help shape and deliver our current reward strategy, while supporting new initiatives that attract and retain talent. Reporting to the Head of Reward & Data, you will work across various aspects of compensation, benefits, and people analytics, playing a key role in the annual pay review, benefit renewals, and wellbeing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of NewDay’s year-end salary and bonus review.
  • Manage annual benefits renewals, including liaising with brokers and communicating with colleagues.
  • Submit annual salary benchmarking using Willis Towers Watson surveys.
  • Handle day-to-day supplier relationships, including finance processes for purchase orders and invoices.
  • Serve as the main contact for reward queries from the People Team, payroll, and the wider business.   

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in an in-house reward role, with expertise in compensation and benefits.
  • Knowledge of Willis Towers Watson grading methodology.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Workday HRIS and benefits platforms.
  • Knowledge of People Analytics, including turnover, gender pay, and absence metrics.
