Job description:
The Psychologist Employment Register is established to provide the Tasmanian Health Service with a pool of experienced and skilled people who are able to work at short notice. Interested persons are able to submit their application to be considered for psychology duties on a fixed-term basis.
The Psychologist Employment Register is established to provide the Tasmanian Health Service with a pool of experienced and skilled people who are able to work at short notice. Interested persons are able to submit their application to be considered for psychology duties on a fixed-term basis.
This Register will remain open to applicants until 30 June 2026 and will be reviewed on a regular basis.
Please note that the Register will not preclude other psychology positions being advertised if warranted. Current vacancies are available on the www.jobs.tas.gov.au website.
Salary
$106,966 - $123,013 (pro-rata), per annum
Please note that access to salaries beyond $105,245 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.

- Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
a) Crimes of Violence
b) Sex Related Offences
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty
2. Identification check
3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
