Job description:

The Administrative Assistant will provide a high level of administrative and clerical support to staff and clients to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services within Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS).

The role:

In accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and guidelines, the Administrative Assistant will provide a high level of administrative and clerical support to staff and clients to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services within Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS).

  • Undertake general administrative and clerical support including distribution of incoming and outgoing mail (hardcopy & electronic); photocopying; collating and distributing documents and correspondence; filing; faxing; and scanning of documents; and maintaining electronic records, documents, databases, scheduling and information systems for the efficient operation of the Service.
  • Provide an efficient and effective receptionist service to support and maintain the efficient flow of information to and from CHaPS.
  • Monitor and replenish stationery supplies and IT consumables and purchase other ad hoc items as required.

Details of Appointment

Permanent, part time, day worker position working 15.2 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Please note the successful applicant will be working on Fridays only.

Salary: $64,125 - $68,925 pro-rata, per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

  1. Current Working with Children Registration
    *Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
