The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated ACAT assessor to join our multidisciplinary Allied Health team working across Tasmania's North West Coast. 

The ACAT Assessor - Allied Health will, within a primary health care framework, assess the needs of older persons and appropriate younger people with disabilities and their carers, within the region. Facilitate access to appropriate community and residential services, through a multi-disciplinary team approach.

The Team:

Working in a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will be completing Aged Care Assessments through the My Aged Care system for clients across the North West Coast. 

Details of appointment:

Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from November 2024 until February 2026.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $106,966 to $123,013 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Union Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022

Allowance 

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. 

• Please note that access to salaries beyond $115,573 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme 

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: 

• Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum

Eligibility: Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

• • Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
