Job description:

Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager - Infection Prevention Control Unit (Nurse Manager), provide a defined, high standard infection control cleaning service across the Launceston General Hospital.

Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager - Infection Prevention Control Unit (Nurse Manager), provide a defined, high standard infection control cleaning service across the Launceston General Hospital.

The Team:

The LGH Environmental Cleaners (E-Team) are a small diverse group of staff working together to maintain hospital cleanliness. 

The E Team use their exceptional cleaning skills to serve the community by reducing risk to hospital patients from infectious diseases.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for twelve (12) months. 

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $60,666 to $63,222 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Allowances: 

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
