The Role:
King Island Hospital and Health Centre are seeking a motivated Activities Coordinator to join their team. You will join a small, well supported that has the ability to work autonomously while servicing residents within Netherby Home.
The Activities Coordinator will:
- In consultation with Residents and the health care team members plan, supervise and coordinate the delivery of activity services in the Residential Aged Care Home.
- Ensure individual interests, custom, beliefs, cultural and ethnic backgrounds are valued and fostered in all activities within the facility

Details of appointment:
Permanent, part time, shift worker position, working 20 hours per fortnight, commencing from December 2024.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $60,666 to $63,222 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Union Wages Agreement 2022
Allowances:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- District Allowances of up to $4,618 per annum for a family
- Remote and Rural Professional Development Allowance of $3,699 per annum and an additional salary allowance of 10%
