The Role:
Provide direct support to the Clinical Lead/Clinical Director/Director of Nursing and Midwifery of the relevant service through minute/note taking, preparation of correspondence, organisation and scheduling of meetings and diary management.
Create and maintain clinical rosters for the service in conjunction with the Clinical Lead, liaising with various medical staff and hospital departments to ensure information integrity
- Rostering – Paediatric Outpatient/Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department Schedule and Oncall Roster
- Locums, timesheets and leave requirements
- Secretarial for Clinical Meetings – co-ordination of minutes, agendas and outstanding actions
- Extensive Diary Management
- Be flexible and adaptable to assist with the day-to-day office operations.

The Team:
The Department of Women’s and Children’s Services at North West Regional Hospital provide services to Paediatric patients and Maternity Patients across the North West Coast of Tamsnia. All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.
Details of appointment:
Fixed term, part time, day worker, working up to 56 hours per fortnight, commencing 8 December 2024 until 8 June 2025.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $71,661 to $77,455 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
Allowances:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
