Job description:

The Pre-Assessment Clerk provides and maintains a high standard of customer focused clerical, administrative and reception services, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.

The Role:

The Pre-Assessment Clerk provides and maintains a high standard of customer focused clerical, administrative and reception services, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.

You will need 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to create a welcoming and safe environment for patients.  Customer focus places the patient at the centre of processes.
  • High level organisation and workflow skills.
  • Transferable data base and computer skills across various platforms.

The Team:

The Pre-Assessment Clinic is a multi-disciplinary clinic supported administratively by the Pre-Assessment Clerk.  The Team Leader is a nurse who works closely with the clerk to ensure maximum efficiency of clinic availability and smooth processes to support each day.

Details of appointment:

Permanent, part time, day worker position, working up to 60.8 hours per fortnight, from 6 January 2025.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $64,125 - $68,925 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

Allowances: 

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
