The role:
The Health Information Officer casual role supports the continuation of client/patient care by:
- Providing a confidential health information administration service with accurate collation of clinical and related internal and external documentation into the approved health record in accordance with the AS 2828 Health Records and Agency policies, protocols, and guidelines.
- Performing various clerical and administrative tasks involving organisational skills and attention to detail, including front-line reception duties in support of the effective day to day service delivery required in Health Information Services (HIS).

Details of Appointment
Multiple fixed term casual, day worker positions working when required, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 12 months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $66,049 - $70,993 per annum + 11.5% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Eligibility:
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Skills in administrative functions including high-level data entry
