The Team:
The Aged Care Reform Unit works with the Tasmanian Health Service and the Aged Care Sector to improve and streamline care for older Tasmanian.
The Role:
- Contributes to achievement of the objectives and outcomes of the Aged Care Reform Unit (ACRU), including the delivery of statewide program priorities, projects and workplan activities.
- Supports the efficient and effective provision of innovation and integrated care models, based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary framework.
You will need:
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge, skills and experience in relation to patient access and flow issues.
- demonstrate capability to be focused on understanding the business of the organisation, patient access and flow issue and delivering the best outcomes within the available resources.
- demonstrate capacity to persevere to achieve goals even in the face of obstacles, cope effectively with disappointments and setbacks and remain calm and in control under pressure.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of approximately twelve (12) months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $122,365 to $129,060 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type

- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in project management or clinical redesign
