The Team:
- The role is set at the RHH/Wellington Outpatient Clinics
- We are a friendly, supportive and welcoming team offering a fast-paced environment structured around the outpatient setting.
- As a member of the Outpatients team, you will specialise in providing care to people living with complex medical conditions within the Medical Services.
The Role:
The Enrolled Nurse delivers patient focused nursing care to assigned individuals within their scope of practice. This role primarily involves medical specialties and collaboration with a diverse team, aiming to achieve planned patient outcomes in an outpatient setting. There is opportunity to develop a broad range of skills in a supportive team environment. All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.
You will need:
- Sound knowledge of the principles of nursing care, procedures and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to practice in a manner that respects the right of individuals and groups.
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.

Details of appointment:
Permanent part time, day worker position, working 48 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $70,980 to $78,179 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type

Eligibility:
