Job description:

The Department of Health is seeking Casual Administrative Officers to join their State Wide Mental Health Services team in South.

 

The Role:

As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency Policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Administrative Officer:

  • Undertakes a range of high-level administrative functions for Mental Health Services, including supervision of administrative staff as required and the coordination of administrative processes.
  • Provides high level day to day administrative support services to the relevant team.
  • Manage and coordinate administrative support systems for the efficient and effective operation of the relevant team
  • Provide an efficient and accurate keyboard service for staff using dictation and minute taking equipment when required.
  • Oversee the ordering, maintaining, and processing of accounts, including cost coding functions for stationery items, other office requisites, and petty cash for the relevant team.

The team:

  • Work in diverse administrative roles across all Mental Health Services sites in Southern Tasmania in a casual capacity
  • Contribute to efficient operations within Tasmania’s Mental Health Services
  • Receive full orientation, ongoing support, and training opportunities to expand your admin skills

Details of appointment: Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 2 years.

Location: South, Tasmania

Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
