The Role:
As part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Services principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency Policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Administrative Officer:
Undertakes a range of high-level administrative functions for the Older Persons Mental Health Services (OPMHS) Team including supervision of administrative staff and the coordination of administrative processes.
Provides high level day to day administrative support services to OPMHS.
- Providing high level quality administrative and reception support to OPMHS including undertaking special projects at the direction of the –Director of Nursing OPMHS and other senior management at RFC.
- Undertaking the coordination and supervision of administrative staff, including undertaking leave management, training of staff in new processes, the orientation of new or casual administrative staff and the ongoing support of existing administrative staff.
- Support with recruitment process, planning and documentation; rostering and staffing support including record keeping and data collection, meeting planning organisation, bookings, minutes and distribution of invites and documents; asset management, reporting and data recording.

Details of appointment:
Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
