Job description:

lead a small administration team that supplies essential support to the Physiotherapy Service. You will apply your established skillset to the resolution of a wide range of issues and bring broad judgement to the analysis of issues. You will be supported to continue to learn in this role, apply your new knowledge and support the development of others.

The Team:

The Physiotherapy Service within Tasmanian Hospitals – South provides services to the southern Tasmanian community. The successful applicant will play an integral role within the service, working alongside the Physiotherapy leadership group and the broader team to support effective management and coordination of the service.

You will lead a small administration team that supplies essential support to the Physiotherapy Service. You will apply your established skillset to the resolution of a wide range of issues and bring broad judgement to the analysis of issues. You will be supported to continue to learn in this role, apply your new knowledge and support the development of others.

The Role:

  • Oversee, coordinate and provide supervision, support and ongoing training to the physiotherapy service administration team in conjunction with the Discipline Lead - Physiotherapy Services.
  • Provide business support to the Discipline Lead - Physiotherapy Services, by coordinating human resource processes and operational business policy and processes across all Physiotherapy Services.
  • Perform business analysis activities, carry out projects and provide advice to the Discipline Lead - Physiotherapy Services and physiotherapy Team Leaders on a broad range of performance, financial and human resource issues.

Details of appointment:

Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 68.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: 

$81,915 to $94,263 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
