The Team:
TasEquip operates a statewide equipment loan scheme to eligible Tasmanians. The Commonwealth is establishing a National Assistive Technology (AT) Loan Scheme as part of the Support@home program for Australians over the age of 65. The TasEquip AT Loan Scheme Project is being established for Phase 1: Scoping and Planning work to determine the requirements for Tasmania undertake this expansion of service. A small dynamic team is being established to undertake this critical, broad and time sensitive work. The TasEquip Project Officer is a critical member of this team.
The Role:
The TasEquip National AT Loan Scheme Project is in 2 phases. This position is for Phase 1: Scoping and Planning. Phase 2: Development and Implementation will be dependent on the outcomes of, and agreement to the findings of phase one by relevant authorities.
As a member of the National Assistive Technology (AT) Loan Scheme project work to:
- Support the delivery of project management services, including change management and business analysis, by collaboratively planning, delivering, and implementing project activity outputs.
- Undertake responsibility for the provision of project activity and outputs to support the delivery of project to meet business requirements, as a member of a multi-skilled team.
You will need to:
- Provide high level project support to the Project Manager-TasEquip regarding the development, management, and implementation of the National AT Loan Scheme in TasEquip Project including project policies, processes and strategy objectives.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with staff, management, and other key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the provision of high quality, effective communication and information services relating to the objectives of the National AT Loan Scheme in TasEquip Project.
- Develop, extract and analyse data relevant to the project, including compiling and preparing high quality reports and documentation for issue to Project Manager, internal and external stakeholders and the public as required, ensuring data integrity and security of information is maintained.

Details of appointment: General Stream, Band 5
Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 31 October 2025.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $98,255 to $103,069 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
