Job description:

Exciting opportunity for an Oral Health Customer Service Officer to join the Department of Health!

The Team:

At Oral Health Services Tasmania, you will work across a multi-disciplinary work environment. Our team is progressive and always striving for best practice and outcome for our patients. We will look after you from the very beginning, ensure you are fully inducted and welcomed into our team and into our culture. 

The Role:

Provide an efficient and effective reception service to all clients and centre-based staff as well as administrative and clerical support to OHST staff and external service providers. Liaise and assist in the coordination of the day-to-day functions of the Dental Centre and community clinics. Provide a clerical support service in relation to the administrative functions associated with primary patient care.

You will need 

  1. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with all disciplines of professional staff.
  2. Ability to be flexible and work effectively as part of a team in a busy, demanding work environment, together with well-developed time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work with difficult and demanding clients, including a high level of adaptability and flexibility.

Details of appointment:

Multiple permanent, full time and part time, day worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Part Time working 45.36 hours per fortnight. Mondays, Thursday and Fridays each week.

Casual hours as and when required.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $66,049 to $70,993 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
