Have you ever wanted to experience life as a Tasmanian? Come and try it out.
We have opportunities for Radiation Therapist's in stunning Northern Tasmania. Join us and experience our breath-taking coastlines, National Parks, and incredible fresh produce crafted by locals.
Your career as a Radiation Therapist can take you anywhere. What’s different about Tasmania is our culture and our lifestyle. You will be encouraged to be yourself, to learn, to grow and explore our island state. Our isolation helps drive a culture of creation and human connection, which feels both old fashioned and… like the only future worth pursuing. After a hard day at work, you don’t sit in traffic for an hour. You decompress with a meandering coastal drive, a relaxed walk through town, or you put on your boots and tell it to a mountain.
We offer an inclusive and rewarding place to work, featuring contemporary, evidence-informed practice. Our Radiation Therapists are a key component of the multidisciplinary team who guide patients through their treatment journey. We provide the Statewide Brachytherapy service, External Beam Radiotherapy, seamless Varian planning to treatment and we use 2 Truebeam Linacs.
You will be joining a diverse team of passionate locals and new Tasmanians who will welcome your energy and experiences into the group dynamic. We’ll actively support your career development through dedicated education support, and a teaching culture.
This is opportunity within our Comprehensive Cancer Care Centre includes support for relocation and accommodation. For more information about this opportunity, please email or phone Natalie Kidd, our Manager/Chief Radiation Therapist: natalie.kidd@ths.tas.gov.au or (03) 6777 6159
