
Senior Speech Pathologist, Outpatient Services (permanent, full-time)

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to join our Outpatient and Head & Neck Cancer teams. You will deliver services to patients with voice, swallow, upper airway disorders, and communication difficulties from a variety of aetiologies; and will become an integral part of our vibrant team of approximately 20 Speech Pathologists across diverse specialist fields.
Evidence of competence in H&N Cancer, VFSS and FEES are highly regarded, with support provided if needed to develop these skills. Your professional development will be supported through a generous PD budget, active clinical supervision, and peer support programs.
This position will provide site-based and satellite services from the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH), Tasmania's tertiary referral centre and major University teaching hospital, centrally located near Hobart's iconic waterfront.
In this role, you'll contribute to service development and hold a Speech Pathology leadership portfolio. You'll mentor and support peers, junior staff, and students from the University of Tasmania's Masters of Speech Pathology program.

Details of appointment:
Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with the Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

- Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
