The Executive Director of Operations and Performance (EDOP) team drives hospital performance, patient flow, and system-wide improvement across Hospitals South. The Role:
The Project Support Officer provides high-level administrative and project support to the Executive Director Operations and Performance, including coordinating project activities, delivering small projects or project components, preparing documentation, and organising meetings. The role ensures accurate and timely outcomes, supports Quality & Safety and child safe practices, and maintains compliance with policies, protocols, and legislative requirements.
You will need:
- Demonstrated sound knowledge and experience in general business processes and office management and the proven ability to apply these within a public health environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal and oral and written communication skills and the demonstrated ability to interact sensitively, professionally and effectively with a broad range of stakeholders including multiple project managers and teams.
- Demonstrated ability to use a wide range of information technology software, including financial and human resource systems, with a focus on communication, record-keeping and reporting functions.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $81,915 to $94,263 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
