About the Role

As an Applications Support Officer within our Information & Technology Management Services (ITMS) team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the digital tools that enable our staff to deliver housing solutions across Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 support for business applications.
  • Deliver training and education programs to build digital capability across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with ITMS and business units to ensure our digital environment is fit-for-purpose.
  • Support a culture of inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Experience

  • Strong customer service focus in an IT support environment.
  • Experience in developing and/or delivering workplace technology training.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Certificate III/IV in Information Technology or Training & Assessment.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Employment type).
  • Ability to satisfy pre-employment checks including:
    • Conviction checks (violence, sex offences, drugs, dishonesty, serious traffic offences)
    • Identification verification
    • Employment disciplinary history

Location & Hours

  • Employment Type: Permanent full-time (76 hours per fortnight)
  • Work Type: Day work; part-time hours may be considered
  • Location: Homes Tasmania - Information & Technology Management Service - Statewide – specific location negotiable with the successful applicant
