Job description:

Apply your administrative expertise through a clinical policy lens to enhance patient safety surveillance, manage sensitive data, and contribute to quality assurance across Tasmania’s healthcare system. The Role:

Provide high level administrative support to contribute to the successful positioning of the Clinical Systems Improvement Unit.

Coordinate high-quality administrative outcomes relating to patient safety surveillance activities and projects across a complex adaptive healthcare system.

Promote and ensure a proactive, integrated and innovative approach is undertaken when administering systems, including the active engagement of stakeholders with improvements.

Coordinate and undertake a range of general administrative activities including but not limited to data entry, quality assurance, document management, correspondence, organising meetings and taking minutes.

You will need to:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Nurse Manager Patient Safety Surveillance applying attention to detail with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Support the production of statistical analysis and/or reports, within an identified framework to deliver outcomes.
  • Apply a systems-thinking approach when planning and developing patient safety e-system enhancements, in consultation with staff at all levels of the organisation.

Details of appointment:

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
