The Department of Health is seeking an experienced senior manager to lead the development and implementation of financial management, purchasing and supply strategies, projects, policies and practices for the effective management of the Department's resources.
About the Role
The Director Finance and Procurement is a critical role reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the management of the development and implementation of financial management and procurement and supply systems and strategies that enables the Department of Health to deliver safe, efficient, effective and high-quality integrated patient and client care.
This executive role offers the opportunity to provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the development of relevant financial information, and timely budgeting, planning and financial reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, Health Board and Secretary.

Details of Appointment
This senior executive position is offered as a 5-year contract, with an attractive remuneration package, including a salary range between $183,884 to $202,163 per annum plus 12% superannuation
Eligibility
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting and membership of either CPA Australia or the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand
