
The Team:
- The Renal unit works closely in a multi-disciplinary approach to provide care to patients with kidney disease.
The advertised position is based at Karingal home therapies unit, at St Johns Park, New Town where we support patients and their families training for self-care dialysis either Peritoneal or haemodialysis.
The Role:
- The Renal unit works closely in a multi-disciplinary approach to provide care to patients with kidney disease. The role involves being a team member and performs duties consistent with quality improvement guidelines to provide support to nursing staff via stock management, general housekeeping and catering duties to patients within the relevant Unit.
You will need:
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and/or experience in, food, kitchen and personal hygiene.
- Ability to provide, and/or have experience in, cleaning services in a hospital or large organisation environment with knowledge of infection control practices and guidelines.

Details of appointment:
Permanent part time, shift worker position, working 48 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $63,110 to $66,049 per annum . Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
