Job description:

Under the general direction of the Manager, the Executive Services Officer will be responsible for providing professional, effective and proactive executive support to the Chief Executive Officer and senior executive team where appropriate. Assist in the coordination of the workflow of information and requests between the Office of the CEO, Homes Tasmania business units and the Minister’s Office.

$ 81,915.00 to $ 94,263.00 pro rata, per annum - plus 12.0 % Superannuation

Period of employment / Hours:

Permanent full-time (76.00 hours per fortnight) day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation)

Duties:

Primary Purpose / Focus :

Under the general direction of the Manager, the Executive Services Officer will be responsible for providing professional, effective and proactive executive support to the Chief Executive Officer and senior executive team where appropriate.
The officer will also:
  • Assist in the coordination of the workflow of information and requests between the Office of the CEO, Homes Tasmania business units and the Minister’s Office.
  • Provide administrative support for the Homes Tasmania Board and its committees.

Skills and experience :

Selection criteria includes:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire an understanding of, executive and administration support practices, including supporting senior executive/senior managers and committees. 
  • Proven ability to exercise initiative, judgement and the motivation to achieve results in an environment subject to changing conditions and workload, together with the proven ability to interpret and analyse information and recommend or decide upon appropriate action.
  • Effective high level written and oral communication skills, with the ability to provide quality customer services with courtesy and discretion.
