The Role:
Locations: North West Regional Hospital, Mersey Community Hospital, Devonport Community and Health Services Centre
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our rotational team, working across three diverse healthcare sites in North West Tasmania. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career clinicians to gain broad experience and develop core competencies in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Role:
As a Rotational Physiotherapist, you will undertake 4-month rotations across key clinical areas, including:
- Outpatient Services
- Medical and ICU Wards
- Surgical Ward
- Inpatient Rehabilitation
You will work closely with experienced physiotherapists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Each rotation is designed to build clinical confidence, foster professional growth, and support your transition into a well-rounded physiotherapy career.

- AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist (or eligible for registration)

Details of appointment:
Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, 5 January 2026 until 5 January 2027.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $73,834 to $111,364 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
