Interventional Neuroradiology (INR) Senior Registrar/ Fellow Systems Focused Rotation (SFR) Trainee - (510186L5)
We invite motivated and suitably qualified applicants to apply for an INR Senior Registrar/ Fellow / SFR trainee position at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Department of Medical Imaging:
The Interventional Neuroradiology service is based in Hobart and is the only unit of its kind in Tasmania. The unit provides a state-wide service and readily accepts referrals from all areas of Tasmania. The unit operates Monday to Friday with emergency capabilities twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. Medical, nursing and technical staff are highly skilled within the field of Neuro-Interventional procedures, with all staff participating in an on-call roster for emergency treatments. The Angiography team works collaboratively to deliver and achieve the best outcomes for patients, using latest cutting-edge technology.

Qualified applicants must be Citizens or permanent residents, hold full unconditional AHPRA registration at the time of commencement.

Salary
$134,930 - $189,005 per annum + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging.
Salary range is in accordance with Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022

Period of Employment
Fixed term, full time day work, working 76 hours per fortnight plus 10 hours protected training time (pro rata), commencing 04 April 2026 for a period of 12 months.

Duties
The Registrar is responsible for the day to day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the Hospital and provides after-hours emergency cover at the hospital as required.

- General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).
