Period of employment / Hours:
- Note: - This role is for a limited timeframe to meet current organisational needs associated with the implementation of Property Maintenance Service Model and Restructure 2025.
Fixed term full-time day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation) commencing ASAP until 30 June 2027 (a period of approximately18 months)

Duties:
Primary Purpose / Focus :
As a member of the Property Maintenance team, contribute to the growth and sustainability of Tasmania’s community infrastructure, with a specific focus on the social and affordable housing portfolio, through the delivery of responsive and planned maintenance services.
The core objectives of the position are to:
- Coordinate and provide comprehensive high level executive and administrative support to the Property Maintenance team in the efficient and effective delivery of maintenance services, including secretarial support for the State Manager.
- Inform, guide and work collaboratively with the identified business units in the Authority to provide holistic support and business services and achieve service delivery outcomes.
- Support business planning, data analysis and reporting for the Property Maintenance team and more broadly for Homes Tasmania.
- Maintain effective working relationships with Homes Tasmania business units and external stakeholders.
Skills and experience :
Selection criteria includes:
- High level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide advice and support to staff at all levels, including interaction with contractors, suppliers and liaison with business support staff.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage the office of a senior manager, including the ability to undertake a range of administrative, secretarial and executive support services, together with a well developed knowledge of accounting/financial and human resource management procedures.
- Well-developed information technology skills with a demonstrated capacity to operate proficiently in a technological environment, including a high level of skills in the use of information management systems such as Microsoft Office suite.
