Job description:

We are seeking a reliable, and self-motivated Hospital Aide to join our Surgical Clinics team

The Team

The Surgical Specialist Clinics at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) provide high-quality outpatient surgical assessment and care across a broad range of specialties, including key state-wide services. Our team is committed to delivering excellence in healthcare and achieving positive outcomes for our patients, staff, and the Tasmanian community.

The Role

We are seeking a reliable, and self-motivated Hospital Aide to join our Surgical Clinics team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting clinical staff and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinics. You will assist with preparation of clinical areas, maintain stock levels, including ordering supplies and ensuring clinical areas and equipment are clean and well-prepared contributing to the delivery of safe, respectful, and patient-centred care.

Details of appointment

Permanent, part time, day worker position, working up to 59 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary

$59,688 to $65,185 pro rata per annum + our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025
