The Role:
Provide quality specialist and sub-specialty Ear, Nose and Throat services to the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) within the limits of specified clinical privileges.

Details of Appointment
Fixed Term, Part time, day worker (with on-call) position working 16 hours per fortnight, commencing from 4 May 2026 for a three year period. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary:
Visiting Medical Practitioners Level 1- Visiting Medical Specialists Level 4 $280,161 - $490,097 per annum, pro rata + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging
- Salary range is in accordance with Tasmanian Visiting Medical Practitioners (Public Sector) Agreement 2019
In addition, the following allowances and benefit, calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

- Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) or equivalent
